The Ombudsman

The office of the Ombudsman was officially established pursuant to the Act 24 2007.

The first Ombudsman for Grenada Mr. A. Argar Alexander took the oath of office on 1st October 2009.

The purpose of the office is to give assistance to persons who believe that they suffered injustice at the hands of public officers employed by Government agencies and departments.

The office of the Ombudsman is committed to the pursuit of the highest ethical standards in its operations.
